We stayed in a Queen Room with our kids and beloved pet. The hotel was a short drive to Carlisle Fairgrounds, which made it easy for us to enjoy local events. The friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable, offering great dining recommendations.

My wife says that the hot tub's lack of functionality and limited pool heating was disappointing for our family. A deeper pool or water slide would be a fun addition for the kids.

Also, the pool claimed to be heated, but I barely felt a difference. chilly isn't my idea of a swim. Getting there was a bit of a puzzle, and the smoking area tucked away in the back felt less than safe for family travelers. Lastly, some areas needed better upkeep. I spotted some smashed food at the entrance that lingered way too long.

The room was well-appointed with a very comfortable bed, and I appreciated the effective heating and cooling system that kept the temperature just right. The Bistro provided delicious breakfast options that were a perfect start to my day. One area for improvement would be to increase the variety of TV channels available for guests who enjoy TV during their stay.
